It is Greek tradition, that once a year the village or town hosts a festival. In Vivari it happens every July, 19^th which is the day of orthodox celebration of Prophet Elijah to which a church in Vivari is dedicated. At this night people from Vivari and nearby villages gather to celebrate. Both adults and children always have fun and remember it for a long time.
